Kanye West needs counseling, Rhymefest claims in a series of posts he published on Twitter today (February 12).
Rhymefest was responding to people’s questions when he said that his frequent writing collaborator “needs help.”
“@RHYMEFEST plz start back writing Kanye’s lyrics,” one person writes with two frowning emojis.
West premiered The Life of Pablo album yesterday (February 11), which included many lyrics deemed controversial, including one line about having sex with Taylor Swift.

“@lord_cornwall nah his mind and spirit isn’t right,” Rhymefest says.
Another user suggests that he should help the rapper write his Twitter posts. West has used Twitter to promote The Life of Pablo. He got into a beef on the social media site with Wiz Khalifa when he tentatively titled the album, WAVES.
“@JakeChatty my brother needs help, in the form of counseling,” Rhymefest responds. “Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal.”
Rhymefest helped write “Jesus Walks” and someone points out that he could help West.
