Rihanna’s “ANTI” Debuts After Unconventional Rollout

Rihanna’s eighth studio album, ANTI, debuts at #27 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. It premiered on TIDAL and sold one million album units through the singer’s partnership with Samsung. The RIAA certified it platinum, but Billboard said it will not count those numbers. Instead, the chart reports that ANTI sold 15,896 album equivalent units, 460 album sales and more than four million streams. ANTI is available for physical release Friday (February 5).

Tank Makes Return With “Sex Love & Pain II”

Tank charts at #15 with the release of Sex Love & Pain II. The first Sex Love & Pain was released in 2007. The sequel features Wale, Rich Homie Quan, Chris Brown and Sage the Gemini. Sex Love & Pain II sold 20,736 album equivalent units and was streamed two million times.

The Grammys Compilation Album Prepares For 2016 Show

The Grammys 2016 compilation album charts at #9 in its first week. The project includes The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face,” Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright.” The Compton, California rapper leads the field with 11 nominations at the awards. The show is scheduled for February 15.
