Kanye West Releases “Real Friends” & “No More Parties In LA”

After releasing “Facts” December 31, Kanye West released another new track this yesterday (January 8) entitled “Real Friends,” which features Taylor Gang’s Ty Dolla $ign.

“Couldn’t tell you how your daughter was / I couldn’t tell you how old your son is,” he raps in the song referring to the struggles of maintaining his closest relationships.

“Real Friends” is followed by a snippet of a track featuring Kendrick Lamar entitled “No More Parties In LA.”

Ye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, recently announced that Kanye will be releasing new music every Friday leading up to the release of SWISH on February 11.

Tyga Releases Sexually Explicit Track “Gone Too Far”

This week, Tyga dropped single “Gone To Far,” which contains lyrics likely pertaining to his relationship with 18-year old girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

“She gon’ do it for a promise ring,” Tyga raps. “Pussy every night, remember what you promised me?” he spits. “You my Grammy, all the other hoes nominees/ I was never honest to them other hoes, honestly/ Sex in the shower, seen you wet and my diamonds clean/ Yeah then maybe you gon’ sweat off your Maybelline.”

The song’s release follows accusations of Tyga’s cheating scandal exposed by OK! Magazine involving 14-year old model Molly O’Malia who claims the rapper pursued her on social media.

Jarren Benton Claims He’s Leaving Funk Volume For No Limit

Jarren Benton posted on Instagram Monday (January 3) that he is leaving Funk Volume to join No Limit Records after news of Funk Volume artist and co-founder Hopsin threatened to leave the label.

“We all heard the news about @hopsinson leaving @funkvolume,”reads Jarren Benton‘s caption of a picture of No Limit Record’s logo. “I’m also venturing out on my own with Master P to revamp No Limit records.#nolimitsoldier.”

Despite Benton’s announcement, HipHopDX confirmed with Funk Volume that Jarren is still signed to the label and is not leaving to join No Limit Records.
