The nominations for the BET Hip Hop Awards were released yesterday (September 15).

50 Cent expressed his displeasure in the list, specifically the award for Video Director of the Year. Eif Rivera, who directed the G-Unit boss’ “9 Shots” video, is not nominated.

“Director of the Year, 👀 where the fu😡k is Eif Rivera?” 50 Cent writes under a picture of him and Rivera with a stack of money. “You have the same list ever year. SMH☕️🐸 wack”

This year, the category includes Alan Ferguson, Benny Boom, Chris Robinson/Lil Chris, Colin Tilley and Director X. Last year’s nominees were Benny Boom, Chris Robinson, Director X, Dre Films and Hype Williams, who took home the trophy.

The 10th annual BET Hip Hop Awards are scheduled for October 13.

BET is not the only target of 50’s frustrations. His television show Power was not nominated at the 67th Emmy awards. The program Empire, which the rapper often mocks, received nods for Outstanding Costumes and Taraji P. Henson is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

“Man these people act like POWER ain’t shit,” 50 Cent writes under a picture of the awards’ logo. “See why I be trippin 😈I saw that trophy in the store for $20 bucks I’m gonna just go buy one fuck it.”

Replicas of various award show trophies are often available for purchase at souvenir shops.
