During an interview with Wild 94.1’s Bootleg Kev, Chance The Rapper confirmed that he does have a joint album with fellow rapper, Lil B. In addition to confirming the album, the Chicago, Illinois lyricist also revealed that the project, which is complete, is “a masterpiece” and “a classic.”

He wasn’t able to confirm the number of tracks on his project with Lil B, but did state that it’s “a full-fledged album.”

“It’s true,” Chance The Rapper said when asked about the existence of a joint album with Lil B. “I’ll say it on your show first. It’s the truth. It’s all done. And it’s a masterpiece. I’ll tell you it’s a full-fledged album. I can’t tell you how many tracks are on it. I can’t tell you how many bars we go back and forth. I can’t tell you about the monologues. I can’t tell you about the features. It’s a classic.”

Prior to Chance’s interview with Bootleg Kev this week, the only hints fans had of a Chance The Rapper and Lil B album came through social media. Chance posted a picture with Lil B on Instagram in mid-July and left the following caption: “Made an album with Lil B.” Lil B uploaded a similar post to his Tumblr profile.

As an artist who doesn’t involve himself in rap beef, Chance didn’t have too much to say about the current feud between Meek Mill and Drake over ghostwriting. He did give credit to both artists for releasing music back and forth as part of their feud.

“I like music a lot. I like hearing music,” he said. “I think beef isn’t necessarily my forte. But I know them and I think they’re cool peoples. And I think it’s more of a situation, an isolated situation in music. So, I’m in full support of it. I like the fact that they making music back and forth. You know what I’m saying? After the fact.”
