Rap group The Outfit, TX released its mixtape, Deep Ellum (EP), on Noisey Tuesday (July 14).

Produced by the group, the eight-track EP features the previously released track,”Watcha Mean” featuring K. Vation and Crit Life’s Crit Morris. “Johnny Cage” rapper G.U.N. appears on “Wiggin Out.”

The Dallas natives, comprised of Mel, Dorian and JayHawk, were recently featured in a Noisey article highlighting the emerging Dallas Rap scene and the group collaborated with a few of the artists mentioned within the article to create Deep Ellum (EP).

The project arrives in advance of the Texas rap group’s album and is available for stream on Soundcloud.
