Chris Pratt’s movie Jurassic World came out in theaters today (June 12) and the actor sat down with Complex to discuss his musical influences.

He describes himself as “an old school cat” who was put on to Rap music from his publicist.

“I’ve actually been a big country music fan for the past few years,” he says. “I would go to these photo shoots and put country on and the look on my face in the photo was always the same. Then my publicist was like, ‘Fuck this shit, dude. You gotta put on some good music.'”

Pratt says he regularly listens to Kanye West and listened to Jurassic 5 to prepare for the Jurassic World movie.

He says he listens to Tupac, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and Eminem while he works out and has high praise for Foxy Brown.

“She’s so badass,” the actor says.
