Chet Haze, rapper and son of actor Tom Hanks, has taken aim at fellow artist Vic Mensa after Mensa called Haze “a fucking clown” in a comment he added to an Instagram post Haze uploaded to his now-deleted account earlier in the week.

Mensa referring to Haze as a clown comes after Haze uploaded an Instagram post defending his use of the n-word. In response to the Roc Nation rapper’s comment, Haze wrote:

“I already knew u was a hater when I saw u at that house party in Beverly Hills. U ain’t built like me lil boy. Don’t act like u don’t remember!!”

In an Instagram post uploaded earlier this week, Haze promoted a new song titled “Juice” and also revealed that he uses the n-word while with his black friends.

“I do say the n word in real life amongst my black friends who get me and can’t nobody tell me I can’t say what the fuck I feel like no disrespect to the struggle of black ppl during the civil rights movement but it’s 2015 now and yes there are white niggas,” Chet Haze wrote.

The Instagram account for Haze, real name Chester M. Hanks, has since been deleted, although Vlad TV did obtain screen captures of the back-and-forth between Haze and Mensa.

In regards to his Instagram account being deleted, Haze addressed the matter on Twitter, claiming that he did not delete his account, and instead “Instagram went ahead and did that for me.”
