Bun B, N.O.R.E. and DJ Scratch paid homage to the late The Notorious B.I.G. today (May 21) on what would have been the late rapper’s forty-third birthday.

Biggie was shot and killed in Los Angeles after leaving a Vibe magazine party March 9, 1997. His murder remains unsolved.

“Happy Birthday Biggie!! What’s your favorite Biggie joint?” DJ Scratch, producer and one-third of EPMD, wrote on Instagram yesterday (May 20).

N.O.R.E. sent Biggie a birthday shout out on Twitter today (May 21), while Bun B recalled a discussion he had with the late rapper regarding music.
