Waka Flocka will not be performing in Australia anytime soon.

The Atlanta-bred rapper was scheduled for a slew of shows down under and two appearances in New Zealand at the end of May, but due to his rap sheet he’s canceled his tour.

Waka was denied entry by the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection for recent firearm and drug charges.

The tour’s promoter, Robin Fernando, recently announced via Facebook that the tour will be postponed and ticket-holders will be reimbursed.

While a VISA into New Zealand had been approved, the Australian situation means that Waka Flocka’s tour to this part of the world will no longer take place at this time, and will be rescheduled for later in the year.

All ticket holders will be contacted for an immediate refund by Non Stop Tix, and will receive prior notification of Waka Flocka’s new tour dates and guaranteed presale tickets for the new shows.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, as hip hop fans ourselves we are gutted to not be seeing Waka Flocka play in New Zealand as planned, however we are committed to bringing the world’s best hip hop acts to our shores, and will continue to do so.

Waka will be on the road again throughout the month of May and June, making stops in Arizona, Canada, New Jersey and San Diego.
