When Glasses Malone thought about Mother’s Day this year, he recalled his disdain for traditional greeting cards.

“Hallmark cards tend to be a bit corny, in my opinion,” the Watts, California rapper says during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX.

So Glasses Malone decided to make his own Mother’s Day card, one inspired by Tupac’s seminal 1995 single, “Dear Mama.”

“Tupac has the best mother song of all time,” Glasses Malone says. “Why not use a classic that means something to cool moms worldwide?”
