According to TMZ, former Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black was arrested in Las Vegas after he was stopped by authorities while attempting to cross an intersection while the “do not cross” light was up.
Law enforcement reportedly found meth on the Memphis, Tennessee rapper and upon approaching Crunchy Black about the drugs found on his person, he allegedly responded with “Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth.”
As a result of the arrest, Crunchy Black was charged with possession and providing a false name. The Da Mafia 6iX member was already wanted due to two warrants out for his arrest.
In November of last year, Crunchy Black was scheduled to appear in court after allegedly assaulting his fiancée in March of last year in a Minnesota hotel room.

During the incident, authorities also found crack cocaine in the rapper’s pockets. As a result, he was charged with two counts of domestic assault and one count of drug possession.
Despite his arrest in Las Vegas this month, TMZ reports that a rep for Crunchy Black has revealed that the rapper does want to move forward with his life and take care of what needs to be worked out in court.

UPDATE: Crunchy Black was sentenced to seven months in jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor drug possession yesterday (April 29), according to TMZ.

He is scheduled to serve 30 days on the drug charge and six months for the domestic violence case he’d been facing.
Crunch Black is slated to serve the time consecutively.
