The second annual Forbes Hip Hop Cash Princes list is here.
The list, which was was curated by DJ Khaled, Tyga, Peter Rosenberg, and Forbes staff writers Natalie Robehmed and Zack O’Malley Greenburg, highlights Hip Hop artists under 30 who are fast-becoming some of the industry’s biggest earners. Last year’s inaugural Cash Princes list included A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, and J. Cole, who earned a spot on the actual Cash Kings list several months later.
This year’s Cash Prince list includes artists like Migos, DJ Mustard, Mike WiLL Made It, and Young Thug.
Of Migos, Forbes wrote, without a debut album, the group “has already spawned more hits than some [Hip Hop] acts do in a lifetime. Singles ‘Versace,’ ‘Fight Night’ and ‘Handsome and Wealthy’ have all appeared on Billboard’s singles charts. Says Quavo: ‘Whatever makes your head nod, that’s want we want to give you.'”

Notably, in a recent interview with HipHopDX, Migos predicted an enormous commercial debut and quickly broke down their near-future money-making plans. “It’s going diamond,” Takeoff said of the planned album. “Second the clothing. Third we’re gonna go overseas and do the tour and we get back we doing the United States tour 30 days. So y’all be on the lookout for that.”
Iggy Azalea also earned a spot on the list with Forbes noting that the Australian rapper pulls in as much as $75,000 a night per performance.
The youngest artists included on the list are duo Rae Sremmurd, who have already pulled two platinum singles and an opening spot on Nicki Minaj’s upcoming summer tour.
Self-starter Nipsey Hussle also got a nod from Forbes thanks to his direct-to-fans commercial approach. “I want to put my cash register in the part of the process that can’t go digital,” Hussle said in an interview with Forbes.
