A writer named Curtis Scoon is accusing 50 Cent of stealing the concept behind Starz TV show Power, which 50 Cent executive produces.
In a series of tweets, Scoon offers a timeline for the development of his script Dangerous, which he says had interest from 50 Cent’s camp despite not making it to screen. He said that producers were interested in Maino at first.
“Enter 50 Cent,” Scoon tweets. “Maino has a relationship with 50 of some sort. I believe 50 had a hand in some situation at Atlantic. Dubose informed his staff and Byron 50 Cent was interested in Dangerous and would be coming to his office for a meeting. I have the email. Sure enough Maino AND 50 came to the office a few weeks later. I have sworn affidavits from people who were there. 50 tells Starz he doesn’t recall meeting at Dubose’s office. I’m going to help his memory.”
Scoon, who has been implicated in the killing of Jam Master Jay, says that he is smarter and more talented than 50 Cent.

“I believe once 50 heard my name he wasn’t going to do the project in it’s original form,” Scoon tweets. “I’m smarter, more talented and much more authentic. What that means is if I’m in the same room I get the attention he covets. I understand all of this. He’s known for getting shot. I’m known for other things.”
50 Cent, an executive producer and actor on Power, has been critical of the Fox show Empire, which he accused of copying his tactics.
“POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me,” he said in the social media post containing video of a Power advertisement. “I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that They would copy the Marketing.”
In a previous post, 50 Cent displays a picture of both Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson and asks women who they like more. “Empire VS. Power LADIES what’s up you be the judge. LMAO.”
