The Grouch and Eligh have collaborated with Cunninlynguists for a surprise release called The Winterfire EP that is being streamed exclusively on HipHopDX.
The seven-track EP is produced entirely by Kno of Cunninlynguists and executive produced by both Kno and Eligh. The project’s cover art was photographed by Sol Exposure.
The Winterfire EP helps mark the beginning of a collective West Coast outing called the “How The Grouch Stole Christmas Tour” that begins on December 4 in Santa Cruz, California. Together with Cunninlynguists, The Grouch & Eligh and DJ Abilities will run through California, Nevada, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and Utah ona 15-date tour that ends on December 21 in Santa Ana. The full itinerary is below.
Physical copies of The Winterfire EP will be available exclusively on tour in exchange for donatable canned goods intended for food kitchens leading up to the holidays. Preorders for a limited edition vinyl run of the release are now open. The vinyl version of the release, which is limited to 500 copies, will be issued on “coke bottle green transparent vinyl” and will include the EP’s instrumentals in addition to the original songs.
