HipHopDX users were recently asked to rate the week’s top charting Hip Hop albums.
The Ranker list, which HipHopDX uses to assess reader responses below, calculates the votes based on a “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” system and it creates a list with the data users input. Ranker lists the albums from top to bottom, based on the total number of votes and regardless of how many thumbs up a particular album gets. The order of the albums featured on the lists fluctuates as votes are cast.
Jeezy’s Seen It All: The Autobiography earned the top spot in this week’s reader poll. The album earned 263 thumbs up and 102 thumbs down. An anonymous reader gave his opinion on the matter, saying, “The Jeezy album ain’t bad, but at the end of the day Ross defeats another one.” Meanwhile, another anonymous reader said, “Ross and Jeezy both won, they settled their differences and made some dope songs together on their albums. They were both able to outsell 50 in one week.”
Lecrae earned the #2 spot this week, according to readers. His Anomaly project earned 211 thumbs up and 89 thumbs down. Jhene Aiko earned the #3 slot with Souled Out, a project that earned 202 thumbs up and 103 thumbs down. Rittz’s Next To Nothing earned the #4 spot with 135 thumbs up and 108 thumbs down.
