Nas’ Mass Appeal Records is scheduled to release a compilation album September 2, according to the label.

HipHopDX learned this during a recent interview with Boldy James, who spoke about how he became a part of the imprint. But Boldy isn’t alone in the Mass Appeal family and therefore, several other acts are also set to appear on the album.

Naturally, Nas is set to appear on the album as he’s recently worked with Mass Appeal artists for the project. Fashawn and Bishop Nehru are also scheduled to appear on the effort.

When Nas announced the launch of the label in May, the Queensbridge emcee spoke about his excitement regarding Mass Appeal.

“I’m excited to be a part of creating and supporting future careers and legacy artists, promoting love and finding new genius to help the world,” Nas said at the time. “I’m going to be as involved as I need to be, but I also want to be respectful of the art and give artists the space they need to grow and become themselves.”

UPDATE: Nas’ Mass Appeal Records compilation project has been pushed back, according to a Mass Appeal Records representative. No new release date has been announced at press time.
