As an outspoken boxing fan himself, Fashawn spoke with VladTV and offered his own dream boxing match-ups among rappers.

Starting out with a heavyweight choice, the Boy Meets World rapper opted for 50 Cent and Flo Rida.

“Which two rappers would I like to see in the ring together?” he said. “I’d like to see—this is a good one. I’d like to see 50 Cent versus Flo Rida. I think that’d be a really good heavyweight match. I think that would be really cool. But that’s only two people. I could go on.

“I’d like to see Hopsin and Tyler The Creator,” he added. “I think that’d be cool.”

For his last choices, Fashawn offered two match-ups featuring members of the Simmons family.

“I’d like to see J. Cole versus Diggy Simmons,” he said. “That would be really cool…I’d like to see Russell Simmons versus Kid Cudi. That would be cool. Just on the strength of the culture…Evander Holyfield situation,” he added of Russell Simmons’ age.

Earlier this year, Fashawn released a track for boxer Tim Bradly Jr. The song, called “Champion,” was produced by Exile and served as the backdrop for the boxer’s entrance into the ring against Manny Pacquiao in April.
