After Drake surprised fans with a new single last week, Game made an unexpected cameo in Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N Potions” video earlier this week. G-Unit again claims the second spot on the Top 10—last week they had both #2 and #3—for their remix of Trey Songz and Jeezy’s “Ordinary.” A new 30-minute fan-made video released a few days ago gathers some of Kanye West’s heaviest quotes of recent years and overlays them with classical music and iconic footage.
Elsewhere on the list, HipHopDX premiered a new track from MC Jin, Joell Ortiz makes “0 to 100” his own, and ScHoolboy Q features on the latest single from Ab-Soul’s album.
Nicki Minaj & Game Star In “Pills N Potions”
Serving as the first single to her yet-to-be scheduled next album, Nicki Minaj released a video for “Pills N Potions” earlier this week. While West Coast rapper Game makes an extended appearance throughout the visuals, a heavy piece of product placement drops in with a Beats Pill XL portable speaker shown on screen about a minute in.

The video is full of zany CGI with Minaj crying mercury tears and eventually holding a still animated but decapitated head belonging to Game. The song is set to appear on Minaj’s third album The Pink Print. While the rapper has not yet confirmed a date she’s claimed that it will be released before year’s end.
G-Unit Remix “Ordinary”
Co-opting yet another track for their return to the spotlight, G-Unit took a Trey Songz and Jeezy single and made it their own earlier this week. The G-Unit remix maintains the Trey Songz hook and a short verse from 50 himself, Kidd Kidd, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo. Running through what sets them apart from “ordinary niggas,” 50 brags about a pre-release Rolls Royce and never wearing Burberry in his verse. “That new Rolls ain’t new to me / 6 months ago I got that shit / You know a nigga a beast when I’m out on the street / Frozen cube and frozen Jesus piece,” he raps first.

Kanye West Chronicled In “New Testament” Video
After weird hints at its release, a fan-made video chronicling some of Kanye West’s most memorable quotes in recent years hit the web earlier this week. While it isn’t an official piece of promotion, the “New Testament” video brings together bits and pieces from interview clips and on-stage rants and places them over iconic images. The more than 30-minute video is available to stream below.
