After a clip of Kanye West confronting a fan about a pair of fake Yeezy’s rose to the top last week, Kanye is back with “God Level” at #1 this week. 50 Cent released his latest Animal Ambition single with an assist from TDE rapper ScHoolboy Q several days ago. A HipHopDX exclusive tracking some of Tupac Shakur’s most prophetic lyrics rounds out the Top 3.

Elsewhere on the list, another DX exclusive gathered a list of Hip Hop classics for a barbeque, Wiz Khalifa features Ty Dolla $ign on “Banger,” and a snippet of a separate Kanye West track—presumably a left-over from a past release—gets leaked.

According to MTV, the song was produced by West himself, Hudson Mohawke, 88-Keys, Mike Dean, and Noah Goldstein. “You see it’s sharks in the water/ And they ain’t tryna do nothin’ but put cocks in your daughter/ Don’t say nothin’ ’bout what ‘Ye said/ Don’t move motherfucker, play dead,” Kanye raps.

50 Cent Enlists ScHoolboy Q For “Flip On You”

In a week that saw 50 throw a wild first pitch at a Mets game, the rapper brought attention back to his music with the awaited ScHoolboy Q feature on Animal Ambition. After months of teasing the album single by single, 50 is finally set to release the record next Tuesday (June 3).

Produced by Nascent, 50 and Q trade bars during the hook and each offers a solitary verse of their own. “Ghetto philosophy, watch me, I got a hundred scams,” 50 raps second, “Like we could make a few dollars, that there a hundred grams.”

HipHopDX Lists “Prophecies Fullfilled” In Tupac’s Music

Gathering some of Tupac’s most prophetic lyrics, HipHopDX’s Michael Trampe and Kathy Iandoli broke down five of the rapper’s most fitting examples.

“Despite any theories we have about Tupac’s passing, his rhymes reflected some cryptic points,” they wrote. “HipHopDX has tallied five of them that actually came true in light of recent reports of Tupac’s last words, plus the above Entertainment Weekly interview clip from 1994 about Pac wanting his homies to smoke his ashes (and they did)— ‘Worst case, in the cemetery, not the cemetery, sprinkled in ashes, smoked up by homies,’ he says when asked about where he will be in 10-15 years.”
