With controversy still stirring over the Jay Z and Solange elevator incident, this week’s Top 10 is kicked off by an exclusive HipHopDX breakdown of some Eminem’s most definitive lyrics. Video of Action Bronson shutting down a rushing fan (again) rose up to the #2 spot. Eminem grabbed a second spot in the Top 3 with his recently released Spike Lee directed “Headlights” video.

The rest of the list includes new music from Cam’ron and Juelz Santana, Lil Wayne previewing a Jay Z shout on an unreleased track, and parodies of the Jay Z, Beyonce, and Solange elevator altercation.

HipHopDX Lists Eminem’s 5 Most Definitive Bars

Writer Alex Tirpack broke down a handful of Eminem’s most memorable lyrics earlier this week in a HipHopDX exclusive. Starting with rare footage of Eminem freestyling years ago, Tirpack listed bars from songs like “My Name Is,” “The Way I Am,” “Till I Collapse,” and more.

“For this piece, we’re nailing down Shady’s five most definitive bars—which is sort of like trying to find the shiniest piece of gold in a treasure box full of the stuff, but we took a stab at it anyway,” Tirpack wrote. “In identifying the five bars that rise above the rest, normal criteria was scrapped in favor of picking the flows that best exemplify Em as a performer, person, and his persona.”

Action Bronson Punches Fan On Stage

Following a June 2013 incident in Boston in which he bodyslammed a fan who jumped on stage, Action Bronson gave a similar treatment to a rushing concert-goer in North Carolina earlier this week. Uploaded video by another fan included a description of the event from the filming fan’s perspective. “I’m so glad he jumped on stage to give Bronson his lil mosquito leg blunt,” Gabe Collins wrote. “He got his shit wreaked tho.. He got hit so hard he flipped three rows back into the crowd. That boy found Christ in mid air.”

Eminem Releases Spike Lee Directed “Headlights” On Mother’s Day

With plenty of promotional lead up to the video’s release on Mother’s Day, Eminem tapped famed film director Spike Lee for his latest set of visuals. Initially taking to Instagram to announce the video’s release, Em posted a picture of himself alongside Lee who apparently visited Detroit to film.

“Headlights” kicks off immediately with a personal apology to the rapper’s mother. “I went in headfirst,” Eminem raps. “Never thinking about who what I said hurt / In what verse / My mom probably got it the worst / The brunt of it, but as stubborn as we are / Did I take it too far? / ‘Cleaning Out My Closet’ and all them other songs / But regardless, I don’t hate you ’cause ma / You’re still beautiful to me, ’cause you’re my mom.”
