Scheduled to perform at Coachella on the same days that Nas, Kid Cudi, and Solange will take the stage, Pharrell has opened up bidding on a festival attendance package on ebay.

Pharrell, who has engaged in celebrity-auctions-for-charity previously such as the auctioning of his Grammy hat earlier this year, plans to donate the proceeds of the auction to his own not for profit foundation From One Hand To Another. The Coachella package includes two VIP passes to the festival’s sold out second weekend and a chance to meet the artist himself backstage. The auction, which opened at $1,600 is now just short of $2,000. Regularly priced VIP admission passes retail for $799 apiece according to the auction description.

In March, fast-food chain Arby’s purchased the Vivienne Westwood hat that Pharrell wore to the 2014 Grammy Ceremonies. That auction, which maxed out at $44,100 thanks to Arby’s final bid, also benefitted Pharrell’s From One Hand To Another (FOHTA) organization.

Established by Pharrell himself, FOHTA operates as a 501 C3 and supports the producer’s learning program resource centers for underserved youth between the ages of 7 and 20 according to its website. Based in his native Virginia Beach, the first Pharrell Williams Resource Center is currently in development.

Yesterday (April 5), alongside opening up bids for the above charity auction, Pharrell celebrated his 41st birthday as the musical guest of Saturday Night Live. Earlier this week he appeared in a promo video with the week’s host Anna Kendrick. During the show the “Happy” singer also appeared in a sketch alongside Kenan Thompson scouting for backup singers (Anna Kendrick plays the role of an auditioner).
