There was a lot happnin’ this past Wednesday night in New York City. In addition to Lil’ Jon serving up Crunk Juice at Electric Lady Studios and Little X getting his groove on, T.I. played tracks from his forthcoming CD, Urban Legend out Nov. 30. With eats and drinks aplenty and T.I. in a festive mood, he explained the motivations and meanings behind each song.
Since T.I.‘s break out hits, “Rubberband Man” his collabos have gotten more high profile. The Neptunes produced “Freak Though,” Scott Storch “Get Yo Shit Together” f/Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Jon:”Stand Up” f/Lil Wayne & Trick Daddy, Daz Dillinger: “My life,” Swizz Beatz: “Bring Em Out” with a Jay-Z hook, Jazze Pha: “Get Loose” with Nelly, Mannie Fresh: “The Greatest.”
