After two seasons of Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central, Dave Chappelle has become arguably the most popular comedian on the planet. Fresh off of signing a massive contract extension with Comedy Central, Chappelle has taken the time to act as guest editor for XXL.
Chappelle also appears on the cover of the October issue with some of his favorite emcees, Kanye West, Common, Talib Kweli, and dead prez. With the exception of dead prez (whose “Hip-Hop” instrumental brings Dave to the stage), all the emcees have appeared on Chappelle’s Show.
In the issue Chappelle and company will have a round table discussion on various matters from hip-hop to politics. Also included in the issue are the stories behind the making of “All Eyez On Me.” Check for it on newsstands next week.
