Master P has joined the ever-growing list of emcees to owe back taxes.
TMZ reports that P has been hit with liens for unpaid California taxes in 1999 and 2000, according to documents filed by the state tax board.
The documents indicate Master P owes $237,027.41.
Master P built his estimated $350 million net worth through his No Limit Records, a label that was extremely popular in the late ’90s. The label featured artists such as Mystikal, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder, and was the first label home for Snoop Dogg post-Death Row Records. The company filed for bankruptcy in December 2003, after which point Master P sold its catalogue.
