I can’t imagine how many artists would love to call a platinum album a flop. But that was precisely what Jay-Z and R. Kelly’s “Best of Both Worlds” was. An album that was sure to push 5 million units was abandoned as it dropped at the height of R. Kelly’s sex tape scandal.
Seeing as the world’s short (if at all existent), memory has granted R. Kelly back into the height of his profession, he and Jigga will now give their album the tour that it rightly deserved.
Over two months this fall the two superstars will be touring North America to promote their duet “Best of Both Worlds.” The dates and venues have yet to be released to the press, all except the start (September 30 in Chicago), and the finale (November 28 in Phoenix).
