Kanye West is still touring in support of his album Yeezus, but apparently there are already plans for his next project.

In an interview with Jay Z’s Life + Times, A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip revealed that he would be teaming up with Rick Rubin to produce Kanye’s next album.

“I’m producing Kanye’s new album with Rick Rubin,” said Tip, after confirming that he would still be releasing his own solo album, The Last Zulu.

Q-Tip also spoke about deejaying, and why it is still a passion for him. “I mean, I love doing that because I think that, today, it’s important to connect all of the dots musically,” he said. “And when I spin…first of all, I try to read the energy of the crowd, and not try to make it too much about me. But at the same time, whatever that crowd makeup is, then I instantly just try to pull things and try to take them on a journey, and try to connect different music from genre, from different periods, but still keep the party going.”
