Damn, it just goes to show you, peeing on minors doesn’t hurt a music career. R. Kelly dominated this year’s Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Miami Beach. The Chicago native took home 7 of the 8 awards he was nominated for, including top songwriter, producer, artist, singles artist, male artist, singles and singles airplay for “Step in the Name of Love.”

The only award Kelly didn’t win was for Best R&B/Hip-Hop Album, which went to Outkast for “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.” ‘Kast also took home
the award for Best R&B/Hip-Hop Artist (duo or group) as well as two others.

Legends KRS-One and Isaac Hayes received awards for their contributions to their respective genres with the R&B and Hip-Hop’s Founders Award. Lil’ Jon and The Ying Yang Twins won for Hot Rap Track of the Year for “Get Low.”
