Mannie Fresh has no shortage of work these days, including work with some of Hip Hop’s biggest acts.
“It’s the rebirth of Mannie Fresh,” said Mannie in an interview with VIBE. “It’s been busy for me, that’s all I can say is thank the fans, thank God, the people who believe in me.”
Mannie continued, listing the projects he’s working on. “Working on Wiz’s album right now, still working on Mos album, Mos Def,” he said.
Mannie addressed his project with Yasiin Bey, f/k/a Mos Def, which was first announced in September 2012 as OMFGOD. “It’s comin, dude, Mos is shooting movies right now, I gotta kinda work with what he’s doing. When his schedule loosens up a little we’ll get back at it. We’re there, we’re just tweaking the songs, so it’s not like I’m talking about something that’s not done. The songs are done.”

In an interview with HipHopDX, Mannie Fresh discussed his song deal with West. “I got a good song deal with G.O.O.D. Music,” he said of West’s label. “A perfect song deal, that pays a lot. But, I just chose not to be signed because that don’t work for me.”
