The glory days are long gone, but so far 2004 has been a pretty good year for the Wu. Ghostface delivered yet another incredible album, Masta Killa had a great debut effort, and Meth, well we’ll just forget about that. The remainder of the year has some good things in store, namely a CD and DVD from the Wu.
For the first time in nearly 10 years, 10 members of the Clan got on stage together. They put on an 80 minute show that was recorded for a live album (out September 28th) and a concert DVD (October 12th). The strange part is that the show took place in San Bernardino, California. You can’t help but think that New York may have been a more appropriate place for such an occasion.
The material covered at the show ranged from classics like “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthin’ To Fuck Wit” to their big break out smash “Triumph” to various solo joints from each member.
