Ontario native K-OS released his debut “Exit” just over two years ago, earning him critical acclaim and a Source award for International Artist of the Year. The thinking man’s emcee made an album fusing hip-hip, reggae, jazz, and rock. The combination of styles has rarely been done with such good results.
After touring Canada and going through the United States with India.Arie, De La Soul and The Roots, K-OS is ready to return with his sophomore effort “Joyful Rebellion.”
Expect this album to fit nicely alongside his debut as it was once again produced entirely by K-OS and will feature a variety of genre influences as well. The album drops September 21st and the lead single “B Boy Stance” is out now.
