I got my copy of Kool Keith’s “The Diesel Truckers” today and caught an interesting tidbit on track 5 (no tracklisting was given). For the second time, Keith has taken exception to Andre 3000’s choice of apparel. Not because he doesn’t like it, but because he feels Andre stole his eccentric style (particularly the wigs). At the end of the song Keith says “in your mind you think you’re incredible, but I wore the black Elvis wig, no you wear it. I took off the wig, no you just putting it on. I got bored and left LA, I’m very impressed Benjamin, you just movin into LA. Are you a star? Or do you wanna put down that pride you hide and do a track together?
