As previously reported, Springfield authorities were planning on investigating the melee during 50 Cent’s concert to see if charges were to be pressed. In particular, there was a shooting after the incident that was thought to be connected that needed investigation. As it stands now, Ray Feyre, director of operations for Hampden District Attorney William Bennett, confirmed 50 will be prosecuted for his role in the scuffle at the Hippodrome. But, Feyre said, “it hasn’t been decided yet what charges he will face.”
