The story goes something like this; Dead Prez was leaving O’Hare Airport headed back to New York City on Sunday at 1:50 PM. As per regular procedure, a flight attendant asked Stic.man, Harris DeJesus and DJ Umi Bem Niilampti to turn off their radios during take off (it can cause interference with the equipment).
They refused to turn the radios off and were all arrested and charged with simple assault with a court date set for May 5th. Little more detail is known at this time. Now what can’t be ignored is the great irony of the offense. Anyone remember the name of Dead Prez’ mixtape this fall?
