Raw and raunchy Miami rapper, Jackie-O has signed a long-term deal with Poe Boy Entertainment/TVT Records. The Liberty City-native has already heated up the charts with her breakout single “Nookie” and the Timberland-produced follow-up “Slow Down.” Her TVT debut, Poe Little Rich Girl is scheduled for a late summer 2004 release.

Jackie-O explains: ” I feel right at home with all [TVT’s] Southern acts, from Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz and Ying Yang Twins to Pitbull and Chyna Whyte.”

After receiving critical and commercial acclaim for their Loud Records’ debut, Built From Scratch, the legendary turntablists Grandmaster Roc Raida, DJ Rob Swift and DJ Total Eclipse are back with Revolutions. They’ve enlisted A-listers like Ghostface, B-Real, dead prez, Fat Joe, Black Thought, Atmosphere and Rob Zombie, and experimented beyond hip-hop. Now backed by Columbia Records, these DJs continue to give the tables shine.

“We’re trying to be inclusive,” claims Rob Swift. “That’s the beauty of hip-hop—it doesn’t have parameters.” Adds Roc Raida, “We are ultimately trying to create on our decks, to take styles of music in impossible directions.” Total Eclipse agrees, “For me [turntablism] has always been about doing what’s never been done before—employing the scratch as a true instrument in every musical genre out there.”
