Akinyele is yet another example of an artist who never had the career people thought he would. After making his true debut alongside Nas on Main Source’s classic “Live at the BBQ,” Ak seemed destined for greatness.
It never really happened though, his 93 debut “Vagina Diner” was largely slept on despite that Large Pro produced most of it, with help from Buckwild no less. Ak saw his most success in 96 when he released the club favorite blow job anthem “Put it in Your Mouth.”
With plenty of unreleased material under his belt, Ak has teamed up with Eastern Conference to release “Live At The Barbecue: Unreleased Hits.” It drops next week on April 20th.
