Did anyone know it would go this far? “The Black Album” remixes are now running 15 deep or so and counting. The latest comes from acclaimed Atlanta producer Jon Doe. Known for his production for the Prophetix and one of last years best compilations in “Meet Jon Doe,” the Day By Day artist has taken a slightly different approach to remixing “The Black Album.”
The double CD comes equipped with remixes to the entire LP, plus a bonus remix of Jay’s classic “Super Ugly” Nas dis track. The second disk is the complete remix instrumentals plus some bonus beats out of Doe’s private stash.
