From Papa Doc to Aristide, the country of Haiti has gone through trials and tribulations that has left the country and especially the Haitian people crippled. In support of peace and unity through music, artist Wyclef Jean has teamed up with Buju Banton, rapper Scarface and Haitian group, T-Vice to shoot music video in Miami, in efforts to unite the Caribbean.

“Through music, people are united despite their cultures, views, race or creed. Music is responsible for creativity and change. That is why this video is needed,” said Wyclef.

Haitian culture and music has been stigmatized through out the years. Staying true to his Haitian roots, Wyclef Jean still incorporates his culture with songs like, “Jaspora and San Fezi”. He has also worked with artist like Patti LaBelle, Elephant Man, Ceila Cruz, Ivy Queen and Carlos Santana. This video will serve as a platform for the different cultures of the Caribbean to show that we are not alone.
