April 13th marks a significant day in the world of independent hip-hop as one the genres foremost wordsmiths returns with his first full length in nearly five years. Not yet in his 20’s, Illogic released the massive “Unforeseen Shadows” in 1999 alongside Blueprint on Weightless Recordings. He kept fans satisfied with his 2001 EP “Got Lyrics” and last years spoken word album “Write To Death.”

“Celestial Clorkwork” is the album that his fans have been waiting for though. With Blueprint providing end to end production yet again, Illogic has taken his lyrical content to another level proving yet again that he is one of hip-hop’s most gifted poets. The gem of the album “First Trimester” is one of the most moving songs ever penned. Once again dropping on Print’s Weightless Recordings, the album boasts guest spots from such like-minded emcees as Slug, Aesop Rock and Vast Aire.
