Some rumors have circulated that Ol’ Dirty Bastard was already on his way out of The Roc, on his way to Ted Lucas’ Florida based Slip-N-Slide Records. Jarred Weisfeld, ODB’s co-manager, has confirmed that Ol’ Dirt Dog is sticking with The Roc.
“Ted Lucas (Slip-N-Slide Founder/CEO) and I are very good friends and are exploring DVD opportunities together,” Weisfeld told allhiphop. “Ted has built a great music label with Slip-N-Slide. Dirty and I wish him nothing but success.”
Weisfeld also cleared up the rumors that ODB is done with the Wu, “Dirty never left Wu, he will never leave Wu and his album has 5 songs produced by The Rza featuring songs with Macy Gray, Ghostface, Method Man, Buddha Monk,” he explained. “If Wu-Tang does another album there is no chance Dirty won’t be on it.”
