Jay-Z knew exactly what he was doing when he released the a ceppella’s for “The Black Album,” but something tells me he didn’t know how far things would go. With well over ten remix projects already released, “The Jay-Z Construction Set” has been created.

“The Jay-Z Construction Set” has been created by two anonymous 23-year-olds to act as a do-it-yourself kit to make your own remix album and compare it with what has already been done by more accomplished producers.

The kit includes the most essential element, “The Black Album”
a cappella’s, plus hundreds of samples, simple audio editing software and even images to help create artwork. Plus they have included 9 of the best known remix projects including those from Dangermouse, 9th Wonder, Kno, and Kev Brown.

The set is being distributed via the peer-to-peer network BitTorrent. Previews and instructions on how to use BitTorrent, plus more information on the project, are available at www.jayzconstructionset.com.
