Last night, shots rang out in a drive-by shooting aimed at French Montana’s bus following the rapper’s performance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Bad Boy signee has broken his silence on the matter, taking to Twitter to state that he “was not involved” in the situation that claimed one person’s life and sent prayers to those who were affected.

“My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took plac last night in Philadelphia. I had a peaceful concert and was not involved,” he wrote. “My deepest thoughts and sympathies go out to the familiesof the victims, as well as all of those who were affected.”

Shortly after the incident, French took to Twitter to post a picture from inside of the police station. He was released this morning and was not charged in the incident.
