“PR0-keds are the original sneakers. Back in the days everyone had PRO-Keds. We grew up with them,” said Beanie Sigel. What Air Force One’s and Timbs have become to hip-hop culture today, PRO-Keds once were. Beanie Sigel and Damon Dash are looking to bring them back into popularity through a partnership with the State Property Clothing Line.
The plans are to release color ways of PRO-Keds shoes that match various lines of State Property Clothing, complete with the logo on the heel. Three versions of the “Iconic” sneaker will be exclusively previewed at Sneaker Villa in Philadelphia on February 26; two days before they will be released.
“We like to walk it the way we talk it. All of our artists are entrepreneurs in their own right, and we always advocate and support any business ventures they take on for themselves” Damon Dash said. “We’re very proud of Beanie Sigel as he continues to grow as an artist and businessman, and look forward to a successful partnership with Pro Keds on the State Property sneaker.”
