Speaking of re-releases, one of 2002’s best albums – Non Phixion’s “The Future Is Now” – is hitting the streets again in the form of a platinum edition. The double CD will feature a second disk of the albums instrumentals (Primo, Pete Rock, Large Pro, Necro, Beatnuts). That drops on April 20th. Two weeks before that on the 6th, “The Green CD/DVD” will drop, featuring a collection of Non Phixion’s 12” classics, new tracks, unreleased joints and freestyles. The DVD portion is over 2 hours of tour footage, video’s and interviews…

In one of the funnier legal incidents I’ve heard lately, Pastor Troy and two of his bodyguards were arrested on Friday for marijuana possession. Troy gave the cops a fake name initially, but had to come clean when they found one of his albums in the car…
