The networks continue the onslaught of so-called “reality TV” and Foxy Brown is the latest beneficiary of the trend. The platinum artist has signed a deal with MTV to make “Foxy’s World.” The weekly show will delve into Foxy’s dealings in the music industry, operating her label and seeking new talent.
The one time Def Jam artist, where she had platinum albums in “Ill Na Na” and “China Doll,” is in the midst of finding a new deal as well. Maybe she will find one while she does the show!!! Her “reality” show (the quotations are due to reality shows being more unrealistic than regular sitcoms and hence making no sense being dubbed as such), is being called “Good Times meets Making of the Band, with the Osbournes dynamic.”
