Aside from Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer is likely the most dogged rapper of all-time. Most people don’t realize that to this day “Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt’em,” is the biggest selling rap album of all-time. After falling from grace and attempting to catch on with the gangsta rap trend, Hammer went bankrupt and pretty much disappeared.

Aside from a few mentions over the years, Hammer has not had the exposure that he will receive on WB in years. Yes, Hammer is next in line for a reality show. It will focus on his new life – as a minister – and examine how the music biz impacted his life.

Producer Devon Sheperd has compared the show to the Cosby Show, adding,
“The show is going to focus more on his family as well as himself adjusting to their new lifestyle. Their not broke, their not rich, their just not in the same tax bracket as they were when he was a rapper.”
