One of 2003’s most anticipated releases has become one of 2004’s. Fans were disappointed this summer to find out that Kanye West’s debut would be pushed back from the fall of 2003 to February of 2004. With Kanye sounding better than ever with his production work on “The Black Album,” the anticipation continues to build.

The Chicago emcee/producer’s “College Dropout” will feature Roc-A-Fella emcees Jay-Z, Ol’ Dirty, and Freeway plus Mos Def, Consequence, Twista and spoken word poet/emcee Saul Williams. The early advance of the album features several tracks that have been on the mixtape circuit for some time, leading some to speculate that it is a fake. While advances are often not 100% inclusive of the retail version, this tracklisting could differ slightly with the retail release. I’ll tell you, I wouldn’t be mad if this were the official release…
