Whether they booked Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion, a Los Angeles nightclub is livid that they didn’t get some incarnation of the West Coast rapper as they had originally expected.
TMZ reports that Exchange LA has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles against Movement Management, claiming that Movement promised to book Snoop for a show on June 30.
Exchange claims it paid a $15,000 depost (out of $25,000) to get Snoop for the show. Days later, Movement apparently said Snoop had been double-booked. Indeed, Snoop was in Europe at the time.
Exchange is suing for breach of contract and fraud, claiming that Movement has yet to pay up. Exchange is seeking $100,000 in punitive damages.
