One of Yelawolf’s upcoming projects, Psycho White, is now complete.

The Shady Records emcee spoke to The Source, revealing that his collaborative EP with Travis Barker is essentially ready for public consumption.

Psycho White is good,”  said Catfish Billy. “All the hard work is being wrapped up and shit. So that should be dropping… Actually I think that’s next up. That will be the next thing people hear, is the Psycho White project. Then after Psycho White, Trunk Muzik Returns and then probably after that Country Cousins, and then going on into 2013 it will be Love Story. But yeah, Psycho White is next.”

Yela also discussed his recent statements conveying dissatisfaction with his label, Interscope. “Shit man, I don’t really know what going on with that. What I do know is that I’m doing what the fuck I’m doing.”

“I have a good team that’s very close to me that takes care of everything,” he continued. “Whatever comes, I don’t really know. All I know is that nothing can really come and fuck me up at this point. I know I’m at any point because I got myself in a situation where you can hurt me and add on to what I’m doing. And if you don’t add on, then i’m just going to continue doing what I’ve been doing before. I don’t really see the difference unless you’re helping out and if you don’t help out it ain’t going to matter. I have this motor over here still running and I do want to step on the gas and that’s cool because we’ll get there quicker and if you don’t, then you won’t get there any ways.”

Finally, Yelawolf also explained how his life-threatening spleen injury earlier this year caused him to change the way he performs, at least temporarily. “When I first came back from being hurt…I was still hurting hard, so I had to chill on stage. My body was still injured. It really hurt to jump around and shit like that. I would just walk back and forth like Jay-Z. I was like left, right, left, right, put your hands up, and alright peace. I learned so much from that though. I had to teach myself how to have more crowd control and not physically go crazy.”

“Now that I’m recovered, I mix up those two things. I honestly started enjoying taking a moment and letting the crowd just be and not doing anything for a second.”
