Kendrick Lamar has teamed up with BET Networks’ Music Matters for a 23-city tour.

The tour, which begins this fall in Norfolk, Virginia on September 7, is in support of Lamar’s upcoming debut studio album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, which hits stores on October 2.

“More than a Hip Hop show, it’s an experience worth a life time,” says K. Dot about the upcoming tour.

“Kendrick is one the most prolific and phenomenal artist emerging today. His music, style and flow brings a fresh and important perspective to Hip Hop and we are proud to leverage the BET Music Matters brand to expose his amazing talents to the masses,” explained Kelly Griffin, BET Senior Director Music Programming.
